Fall is here, leaves are changing, and we finally had a taste of that crisp, cool, fall air here in Texas! Is there anything better than bonfires, s'mores, cozy blankets and good company? Halloween is going to be here before we know it, so I thought we could discuss some different Halloween/Fall decor options. I've got some simply stunning table displays that I think you'll swoon over. Midnight GardenI love the idea of combining creepy with elements of classy. The mix of florals, with dark accent notes such as candles, pumpkins, plates, etc. has such a dark and glamorous feel. I love the pops of greenery mixed in. Spooky, yet sophisticated. You're sure to wow your dinner guests with any of these table displays. *Pro-Tip, go to your local thrift shop for candlesticks, picture frames, decor, etc. and spray paint them black for your table display. pinterest pinterest Fall TrendsLet's talk fall trends for 2018. Organic/Natural ElementsThese are taken from our Design Studio in Keller. ScandinavianI've been in love with the simplicity of Scandinavian design for quite a while now. The clean, minimalistic aspects are just pleasant to look at. It's become very popular here recently. White on white is common with this style. It's very Monochromatic. Some crucial points to pulling off Scandinavian Design is to keep it minimalistic, clean, bright, and airy. Incorporate different textures such as a faux fur throw, pillows, organic elements such as; wood, plants, and greenery. Ambiance is important in making guests feel comfortable and welcome. A good way to incorporate levels of comfort is with different sized lanterns, filled with candles, pumpkins, coffee beans, etc. Try using different textures for your throws and pillows placed about such as; Wool, Cotton, Chenille. Firewood has become not just something for a fireplace on a chilly day. People are using it as accent pieces and it adds a level of rustic warmth to a room. Fall FarmhouseLet's be honest, the farmhouse craze is here to stay. People just adore it. There is something so reminiscent and comforting about the farmhouse style. It's cozy, rustic, and makes you want to sip some hot coco and be with your family. This is one of my favorite styles to decorate for fall because they just go so easily together.
